Lovely spot. The service was really excellent. There was a lot of options I would've liked to try on the menu, I went with the salad which was excellent. The cocktails are great. I look forward to going back.

We visited this last weekend and we just had a great time. The restaurant is so beautiful and we were greeted warmly by everyone we walked passed. I'm always in it for the food, though! They do Tapas and Italian style food and are very reasonably priced, I was quite surprised. We started with the baby marrow carpaccio which was probably one of my overall favorite dishes! Would really recommend as a starter or with some great wine. Their wine menu, on that note, is amazing. They have a wide variety from every-day drinking to special-ocasion options. Their cocktails are just as good, if that's more your style. I tried the Whiskey Sours - amazing! The French 75 was also great! Back to the food - we tried the duck salad, which was so well cooked, really balanced and light. I also tried the steak with wedges, and it was really, really great. I recommend the Dijon sauce with it, don't worry, it's very subtle and goes so well. The wedges are the best I've ever had, and that's from a skinny fry girlie over here. They had a selection of cakes that looked great (and there's a special on ordering a slice and getting a coffee as part of the deal!), but we went for the affrogato (what a win, and a nice big portion to share!) and the panacotta, which was my favorite. Our server, Ben, was the absolute best, he was so attentive and friendly and the service overall was quick. They have internal seating options and heaters so please don't let the winter cold keep you from visiting. We'll be back soon!

What a lovely experience. The service is excellent. The food was tasty, slightly pricey but relevant to the area. There is an excellent happy hour special (3-5pm) but one fraught beer get one free. I’ll be back and I recommend giving them a try.

I recently enjoyed a delightful breakfast at this establishment, indulging in a rich red cappuccino paired with exquisitely prepared salmon and eggs. The atmosphere and ambience within are truly inviting , creating a warm and welcoming environment. I was particularly impressed by the staff, who were not only kind and polite but also exceptionally courteous. Their attention to detail and genuine care enhanced the dining experience, making it memorable. Highly recommend for a satisfying meal in a pleasant setting.

The best neighbourhood eatery in my opinion. Amazing waiters and the owner is delightful. The food is exquisite. Its cosy and great background music. Love it

This was the best food & best service of Joburg! Amazingly cold beer, pistacchio lamb ribs to die for and the waiter’s recommendation of the best orange cake I’ve ever had. Thanks so much for an amazing meal!

Absolutely decadent breakfast. Having missed being in this village for a while we decided to get breakfast after the zoo trot. What an amazing little spot. Found out that they are brand new. If the rest of the food is as good as the French toast with bacon, heaven is here. Great food. Great location. Great atmosphere and the quality all round is amazing. We will be back.
